Umberto NXT LCA training

Price: 1.250 € plus VAT per person

Early Bird Discount: Save 200 € on Umberto public training fees if we receive your registration no later than four weeks before the start date. For students we offer a special discount of 50%.

Description

The two-days public training in our facilities has a maximum capacity of 6 participants. Based on a tutorial example you experience the functionalities of our software. Guided by our trainer, you will develop your own material flow network, together with a basic life cycle analysis with the use of the ecoinvent 3 database.
Training materials, training certificate, beverages and lunch are included.

Time

1st day at 10am to 5pm and 2nd day at 9am to 4pm

Content

The training includes the following topics:

  • Definition of goal and scope
  • Explanation of life cycle inventory and impact assessment
  • Documentation and interpretation
  • Analyzing datasets
  • Explanation of unit & result activities and elementary & intermediate exchanges
  • Structure and development of a supply chain
  • Description of modeling methods

Besides these topics our trainers will try to answer all of your personal questions within the training.

Target group and prior knowledge

This training is ideal for environmental consultants, engineers or employees in research and science in order to quickly and indenpendently do an LCA. Participants have very different backgrounds and come from various sectors, like chemistry, food or retail.
There no special requirements for this training.

Goal

This training has been designed for a quick introduction to the software and provides participants with the knowledge about all main features neccessary on a methodologically solid basis. By giving practical examples the understanding for life cycle assessment will be strenghtened.
