Life Cycle Assessment for the public sector and the industry
The ifeu-Institute primarily carries out life cycle assessment for public organizations. Further inquiries come from industrial associations, e. g. Plastic Europe in order to update life cycle assessment databases, or from companies like Tetrapak to compare different packaging alternatives.
The work with Umberto mainly focusses on three areas: packaging, Bioenergy sources and the waste management. As an well-established institute ifeu offers the deployment of critical reviews of life cycle assessments created by a third party.
